Christine Elliott is a third-year student at SMU, training in mental health counseling. She is at Insight & Change under the supervision of Dr. Kinney for her capstone training experience. Prior to beginning graduate training in counseling Christine attended OU, earning an undergraduate degree in journalism. She also taught for DISD and earned a graduate degree in education from SMU. 

Christine is trained to work with diverse clients across the lifespan but has expertise in providing support to children and adolescents as they navigate development and relationships. Her approach to therapy is informed by classroom experience, as well as an existential approach that is well suited for helping individuals explore life transitions, depression, grief, and anxiety.
