Whitney Herge, PhD
Dr. Herge is a licensed psychologist in Texas #38000 and Florida #9373 and a senior staff psychologist at Insight & Change. She works with children, adolescents and adults presenting with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, interpersonal challenges, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and overlapping medical concerns. She received her doctoral degree from the APA accredited Clinical Psychology Graduate Program at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Dr. Herge completed her predoctoral clinical internship at the APA accredited Mailman Center for Child Development.
Dr. Herge’s prior work includes working with medically complex patients and their families in the hospital setting, exploring the role of pre- and post-operative assessments and transition of care. She has also provided long term psychotherapy treatment to children, adolescents and adults and has conducted various psychoeducational evaluations in private practices in Florida, as well as Texas.
Dr. Herge has extensive experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence based treatment approaches. She also conduct psychological, educational and intelligence testing, gifted and talented evaluations, and ADHD assessments.
