Aashni Thakkar is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Prior to attending SMU, she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. Aashni works with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, with specialized training and a particular interest in the systemic and relational dynamics of couples and families.

Through her clinical experience and graduate training, Aashni has honed an approach which helps clients navigate relational challenges, life transitions, identity development, and emotional issues. Drawing primarily from Experiential Therapy and integrating systemic approaches, Aashni emphasizes emotional expression, connection, and communication to support clients in exploring their personal growth while building healthier relationships.
